Visitor Comments on St. Anthony

"We have just returned from the Northern Pennisula, where we spent 12 glorious days.. The trails in your area are amazing and I'm not even a walker or climber, yet I made it up many of them.. The walk at Great Brehat, Goose Cove (and many others) were easy to make because of the spectaular care in creating and caring for them.. They are secure and gradual, just what I need.. My husband made the climb on the "stairway to heaven" near the Lighthouse restaurant - and is sure the clean healthy air made it a pleasant climb.. We spent 4 days right in St. Anthony (yup, we did the iceberg and whale watch boat tour and the Grenfell interpretation centre) and 3 more days in the nearby area - and were never at a loss for a road to turn down, a wonderful view to see and terrific people to meet. We bought carvings, sweaters and mitts and went home with suitcases and memories packed right full.. Thank you for a superb stop on our tour of the Northern Penninsula, we have already recommended it to family and friends - and we've only been home 24 hours".. Ken and Cathy Macaulay - Paris, Ontario.. [More visitor comments]..
