My very first job was at the hospital from 1976-1978. My most recent visit was the summer of 2010 when I visited some dear friends, Blanche Twyne, Blanche Biles and Millicent Fowler! Loves them all I do and will never forget the kindness they bestowed upon me as well as the locals in general. Great place, great people and great memories!

Home is where the heart is. Every time I go back to St.Anthony I feel I am truly 'home'. I was there in September but not long enough. I hope to see everyone in July 2012.
The website is great, a long way from no roads, no telephones or TV in the 'old days'.

I was stationed at the radar site 1966 to 1967 and loved the people of St Anthony- Max Smith, Joe Flynn, Bill and Caris Pardy, the Penneys, Seaton Strangemore, Tom Greene( Grenfell pilot) and the Sims. Commander then was Ward McCombs. Wonderful people.

We visited St. Anthony last August. It was a wonderful trip. We would especially like to comment on the wonderful Legion weekly dinner that featured traditional NFLD food. It was delicious and served with a smile. We enjoyed the entertainment there and took part in the 'Screech In" ceremony.. George (Jorge) made us feel so welcome and did a marvelous job of making us newcomers true Newfoundlanders. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you to the Legion for hosting this.
